Hi, I'm Simatwa Ngachi.
I've spent 15 years learning that the best stories need two altitudes: high enough to see the whole picture, close enough to feel it.
I've built a career across East and South Africa, moving between the two — sweeping aerial frames that place a community in its landscape and ground-level moments that place a viewer in someone's life.
What that looks like in practice:
• Digital media strategy and multi-platform production built to travel — from a boardroom pitch to a bush-camp shoot list
• Bilingual storytelling (English & Swahili) that doesn't translate a story so much as let it speak in its own voice
• Field leadership that holds a production together under real conditions — weather, budgets, and moving stakeholders included
• Emotional intelligence as a working tool, not a soft skill — the thing that keeps creative integrity intact when priorities collide
• A track record measured less in deliverables and more in the partnerships that came back for a second, third, and tenth project.
My core expertise is designing, directing, and implementing humanitarian, development, and commercial visual campaigns.
Underneath it is a stubborn belief I keep building a career around: that a camera pointed with care can genuinely change how a child, a community, or a cause gets seen — and treated.
Open to conservation, cultural, and entertainment partnerships.
If your project needs both altitudes — let's talk.
